CRMGYBK
CRMGYBK was a temporary installation by Pieterjan Ginckels and Corneel Cannaerts at the final exhibition of Sint-Lucas School for Visual Arts and Architecture. We produced 800 individualised copies of MMMAG, a magazine which reflects on the past, present and future of the Mixed Media department. Using 7 colours (CMYK and RGB) and 120 cut-outs every magazine has a customised cover. The scripted pattern is derived from rounding floating point numbers to integers, although seemingly ordered it doesn’t repeat itself. The magazines where presented on an oversized coffee table, which was more and more revealed as visitors took magazines away. The cut-outs where spread in the rest of the school building as giant blob-confetti.
We also used the opportunity to showcase some of our new tools at the MMLAB (laser cutter / engraver and reprap 3D printer).
